Scott Ski Slight 83
The newest generation of crossover skis. The SCOTT Slight 83 is built to attack the front side of the mountain. It features the same light-weight construction as the Slight 93 and Slight 100, in a more agile 83mm waist-width. The shorter Pro-Tip Rocker length of 250mm provides increased precision on the groomer while the SCOTT’s revolutionary 3Dimension Sidecut offers forgiveness and confidence in all terrain and snow conditions. The Slight 83 delivers the highest level of frontside performance in a lightweight package.
This revolutionary sidecut design combines a tip and tail with either a central flat line or a small amount of sidecut under foot. The tip and tail radii allow for easy turn initiation while the flat line (freeski) or a larger radius (all conditions) provides stability, power and precise edge hold.
This power design has earned accolades in the form of Winter X-Games Gold Medals and multiple ski test awards.
3Dimension Sidecut is utilized in two different forms, a centralized flat line for the freestyle and progressive oriented skier or as a large radius under foot for an all condition skier looking for versatile, high-performing ski.
+ Improved edge control and power underfoot
+ Adds stability and predictability to the ski
+ Improved pivot point for a playful ski
SCOTT’s Pre-Track technology allows a variable effective edge depending on terrain. The unique shovel and tail geometry offers a smaller effective edge for short radius turns on groomed slopes and a longer effective edge when making bigger turns or skiing off-piste. The result is a more precise, stable and versatile ski
FULL SKI LENGTH WOOD CORE
The Full-Length Wood Core produces a more consistent ski flex and creates a homogeneous transition between middle part and rockered tip and tail.
Sandwich Sidewall Construction Carbon/Aramid Elliptic
